Hi there, First this is a great extension and is the reason that I installed OpenSEF. But there is a problem with it. The hit counter for any of the pictures doesn't work when the extension is enabled. Not a big problem but it is nice to know of people are looking at you photos.

I see this isn't just a problem on my site www.scott-land.net as the hit counters on this sites zoom gallery aren't incrementing either.

I was wondering if this might just be a configuration problem in OpenSEF and not in the actual extension but I am no SEF expert.

Anyway fingers crossed someone can fix this.

     I've done what you said and......

Disable OpenSEF the hit counter works
Exclude Photo Gallery in Components hit counter works
Exclude Photo Gallery and use alias hit counter doesn't work !

Any ideas what it might be the problem ? I 've included my .htaccess file below also.

Okie dokie.  I'll check it out when I get a chance.

Sorry it took so long.  I been pretty busy.   Turned out it was easier than I thought it was going to be.  Check and see if the hit counter is getting incremented in the wrong places.
