Hi,
I couldnt get the extension to work at all and after much digging I realised that it was ignoring the menu item to which zOOm was published due to the fact I had an older menu item using zOOm which I had deleted.  I changed line 138-ish in sef.rewriter.php:

$query = "SELECT id FROM #__menu WHERE link = 'index.php?option=com_".$component."' AND published = 1";

by adding the published bit.  On this note, shouldn't it be possible to have the item published multiple times in different menus and still have it work?

Also this code seems redundant given the code above it:

if (ereg( '&Itemid=([0-9]+)', $url, $matches )) {
        $menu_id = $matches[1];
}

which actually worked in my setup.

Is the extension still an active project btw?

Cheers

In the subject you say it sef_ext.php that is broken but in the body you say it's sef.rewriter.php that you changed?  Sef.rewriter.php is not my code, only sef_ext.php.  I don't think you should be changing sef.rewriter.php anyway.  I imagine you just need to empty your trash or something.

This is still an active project.  It appears that zOOm Gallery is dead and OpenSEF is dead so this project will die.  If anyone has any legitimate bugs I will fix them if I can.

Oh my apologies you are correct.

My download of sef_ext.php was missing like 4 lines off the end though, incl. some curly braces and semicolons.

OpenSEF is dead?  Shame, seems like a good component.
